My Experience Creating Clip Art

In my experience on Teachers Pay Teachers, I noticed a lot of teachers sell clip art and many provide clip art for free. Although I am clearly not an artist, I did find that I could do some doodle drawing and that this type of drawing was perfectly acceptable on teacher created documents. In fact, teachers love this stuff! When I purchased my Mac, I purchased Adobe Elements, so this was a tool I already had in my hands. However, I must say that there is a learning curve for me although I consider myself somewhat tech savvy. So I decided to purchase two applications on my iPad. I found these applications very easy to use and manipulate and I have created a few creations on them so far. The first is iDraw. It’s fairly expensive, around 9 bucks and then I purchased ArtStudio. It’s even more inexpensive at around 5 bucks. Each one provides me the tools I need, and I find that I need both. The wonderful thing is that I can export them back and forth to do the things I want to do.

Here are a few examples of my non-artistic doodling :).
